Jackalyn "Jackie" Gullatt1957 -- 2016 Jackalyn (Jackie) Gullatt, 59, of Pensacola, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, April 21st, 2016, after a 10 year battle with Parkinson's disease. Jackie was born in Pensacola to Warren "Bert" Suggs and Mildred "Annette" Wiggins. She graduated from Escambia High School in 1975. Jackie retired from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office after 31 years, where she began her career in the Records/Identification Office at age 18 and retired as the Chief Evidence Custodian.  Jackie met and married the love of her life, Jeffery "Jeff" Gullatt, in 1978 and enjoyed 37 beautiful years with each other. In addition to raising their two children she took pleasure in crafting, collecting antiques and sea turtles, which she had a great fascination with. Jackie took joy in spending time with her family fishing at the camp, as well as being outdoors, whether it be on the golf course or at the ballfield. Jackie and Jeff enjoyed spending time with their friends, especially, Glenn Hofmann, and Paul and Carmen Anderson who they frequently traveled with. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Bert Suggs and her mother, Annette Wiggins. Jackie is survived by her husband Jeff Gullatt; two children, Kelly (Steven) Dujmovic, and Clay (Haley) Gullatt; seven grandchildren, Maisey, Piper, Owen, Noelle, Bradley, Turner, and Averie; two sisters, Sheila S. Vaughan and Bertina "Tina" S. James. To all who loved and had the privilege of knowing Jackie, she will be deeply and greatly missed.  The family wants to give special thanks to the Escambia County First Responders and the outstanding SINU Department at Baptist Hospital. The visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm; the funeral service will be conducted from the Chapel of Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 10:00 am.  Pastor Ron Lentine will officiate. Burial will follow in Pensacola Memorial Gardens. The family has entrusted Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with all arrangements.
